Armenia plans to extend the cryptocurrency cash transaction license until July 2026
According to Sputnik Armenia, the Armenian government has approved amendments to the "Cryptocurrency Assets Law", extending the cryptocurrency cash trading license for one year, and has submitted it to the parliament for review. According to the amended plan, businesses can continue cash transactions until July 2026, but must comply with strict restrictions: single transactions must not exceed 300,000 drams (approximately $780), sellers must identify customers and register all transactions, and the central bank can check compliance at any time.
