Do Kwon was sentenced to 15 years in prison yesterday. The judge imposed a sentence higher than that proposed by the prosecutor. Do Kwon admitted that he was fully aware of participating in a fraudulent scheme and had indeed defrauded those who purchased the TerraUSD (UST) stablecoin.

This concludes a very chaotic chapter of crypto during the period of 2020–2021. Many figures who were once considered crypto heroes at that time are now behind bars.
