There are too many people in the crypto world who attribute contract losses to "poor skills," constantly analyzing indicators and memorizing patterns, but when leverage is applied, they still get liquidated.

Honestly, your USDT doesn't come from thin air. Take my advice: 90% of liquidations stem from the "mindset" issue.

I used to be a typical "tech enthusiast," able to recite MACD golden crosses and dead crosses, but when the market suddenly spiked, I lost my composure.

After hitting the stop-loss, I rushed to recover, buying high at the peak;

I panicked and took profits after gaining just a couple of points, missing out on major market movements;

When losing, I stubbornly held on, always hoping for a "pullback to save me."

Frequent trading resulted in significant fees paid, and my account balance kept shrinking.

Recently, a fan reached out to me, saying he had stared at the BTC daily chart for three days and nights, and when he saw a big bullish candle, he added 5 times leverage, resulting in a midnight waterfall that directly liquidated him, losing more than half of his principal.

I didn't provide him with new indicators; instead, I told him to first pause and practice "stability"—

He only looked at the market three times a day: at 8 AM, 12 PM, and 8 PM. He wouldn't move his mouse unless he reached a preset entry point, and he set his take profit and stop-loss orders in advance. Even if the market was tempting to go long, he didn’t manually change his orders.

Two weeks later, he reported back that not only did he avoid further liquidations, but he also recovered losses with two trades that aligned with his strategy. More importantly, he said, "I finally don't have to set an alarm for the early morning anymore."

The market has always been there; those who rush to enter are often the ones who step into traps.

Now, I only check the market once a day, opening positions when the signals are clear, and keeping my position size within 20%. Even when others flaunt screenshots of "doubling overnight," I stick to my own rhythm.

In contract trading, what matters at the end is not who understands more indicators, but who can maintain a stable mindset.

If you're feeling panicked right now, it might be better to pause and organize your thoughts first.

Every trade has its basis, which is much more reliable than guessing.
