It’s true when they say we are the 'basic support'!

In the 'small essays' of public intellectuals, 'basic support' is a high-frequency term. According to the 'authoritative interpretation' of public intellectuals, the main characteristics of 'basic support' are 'low cognition' and 'patriotism.' In other words, the short three words 'basic support' vividly showcase their hatred towards China and the Chinese people.

This is not my guess; it’s evident. For example, someone said, 'The basic support doesn’t know, but Zhang (Chunru) is a native-born American.' May I ask, how did they figure out that we don’t know Zhang Chunru is an American? The reason we regard Zhang Chunru as one of our own is that she revealed the historical truth of the Nanjing Massacre and because of her unyielding noble character.

To be honest, it’s not just because Zhang Chunru is of Chinese descent and has Chinese blood in her veins; even if she were not of Chinese descent, we would still regard her as one of our own. As for those who say Zhang Chunru 'said (300000) is still false data,' such people, even if she is in Jiangsu, I will not consider her one of my own; they can roll as far away as possible.

They also say don’t 'quibble with the people on this land,' these 'basic support' 'deserve any suffering.' I’m puzzled; what land are they living on? Could it be that they are spiritual Americans, living in America, or are they spiritual Japanese, living in Japan? If we truly suffer, can they run away?

For the 'basic support' of the country, they spare no effort in sarcasm and ridicule, but for their own 'basic support,' they cherish it dearly. More than a decade ago, a thirteen or fourteen-year-old kid was collectively praised by public intellectuals just for saying 'Iraq is free.' At that time, I was wondering if that kid was given a world map, would he know where Iraq is? Don’t think I’m joking; the ignorance of the public intellectuals’ 'basic support' is beyond what you and I can imagine. Not to mention, if Wang Weiheng knew what 'free healthcare' in America was, would he dare to go to a hospital in America? In August, one of his eyes was blinded by a black man, and he didn’t dare to go to the hospital, which shows he truly didn’t know before. Touching his waist, 'treatment fee' is already 5670 dollars; if it’s just for an eye, wouldn’t the 'treatment fee' skyrocket?

Of course, ignorance is not the main characteristic of the public intellectuals’ 'basic support'; hatred for the country is. A few days ago, Ayumi Hamasaki's so-called 'solo concert' moved the public intellectuals to tears, while they cried out 'deified' and 'recorded in history,' they also sarcastically remarked 'civilization is still far away' and 'the property management is really powerful; they do whatever they want; owners can’t even watch a movie or a performance.' Someone merely said 'one code is one code,' and they labeled that person as 'purebred basic support.' I’m puzzled; just because they missed a concert, how is that akin to taking their lives?

These giant infants, the country is not too harsh on them; rather, it has been too kind, to the point where they think everything is owed to them. For example, the country previously provided a subsidy of 3600 yuan per year for infants under three years old. Isn’t that a good thing? Yet they were still shouting, '3600 isn’t enough for a month’s worth of baby formula,' look at their audacity.

If 3600 yuan isn’t enough for their child’s 'monthly baby formula,' it only shows that this policy was never designed for them. Subsidies are like timely help, not like adding flowers to a brocade. If their child’s formula costs 40,000 to 50,000 a year, how could they have the face to ask the country for subsidies?

I have long said, they imagine China as 'hell' while imagining 'foreign lands' as 'paradise,' simply because they have never experienced true hell. In China, one can come and go freely; if they really dislike China, then they should leave. The price of rice in Japan has just risen to 50 yuan per jin; compared to the 'civilization' they enjoy, that’s nothing at all.

Open your eyes and look at the world; see what kind of lives the so-called 'developed countries' people are living. How many Americans work two or three jobs and still can’t fill their stomachs? How many British people can only choose between eating and keeping warm (in 2023, over 5000 people froze to death in the UK)? This is still a 'developed country'; as for those undeveloped countries, how many people starve to death in a year; do they have any concept of that?

I previously said that India has over two million people starving to death in a year, and someone said I was exaggerating. In fact, this is already conservative data. The U.S. can have over twenty thousand people starve to death in a year, and India can have over two million people starve without it being a big deal? Looking back at China, don’t mention over twenty thousand starving; even if just two starve, public intellectuals can mourn for a month without repeating themselves; do you believe it?

Therefore, our patriotism is absolutely not due to so-called 'low cognition,' but rather an illusion caused by their low cognition. The country ensures our basic living conditions, allowing us to live with dignity under sufficient food and clothing; this is the truth.

I know they will say that the money is earned by themselves, and they spend what they earn, owing nothing to anyone. For those who say this, I suggest they go see America, where homeless people are everywhere; are they homeless because they can’t make money? Or go to Japan and see how much rice their income can buy; how many meals can that provide for their family?

Compared to Americans or Japanese, our lives may not be too good, but they certainly will not be too bad. Their imagination of us 'living poorly' is merely their imagination, not representative of the truth. Not to mention, our rice is only 3 yuan per jin; 'monthly salary of three thousand' is enough to buy 1000 jin, sufficient for a family to eat for a year.

Perhaps for public intellectuals, 'basic support' is a derogatory term, but at least we have never felt that way; or rather, when they say we are 'basic support,' they are indeed correct. This indicates we never worship foreign things, never betray our own, and certainly do not recognize thieves as our fathers. It also shows we are worthy of the country, worthy of our ancestors, and worthy of future generations. Such 'basic support' is a treasure in any country, and in China, it is no exception.
