It has been learned from Chinese liquor industry commentator Xiao Zhuqing that Guizhou Moutai has recently launched a quantity control policy, covering two main dimensions: short-term relief and medium- to long-term structural reforms. In terms of short-term measures, by December 2025, Guizhou Moutai will stop supplying all Moutai products to dealers (prepayments have been completed) until January 1, 2026, when they will resume at an appropriate time. Xiao Zhuqing analyzed that this move aims to directly relieve dealers during the tight funding period at the end of the year to prevent panic selling by dealers due to loan repayments or payment for new goods. In terms of medium- to long-term structural reforms, in 2026, Guizhou Moutai plans to significantly reduce the quotas for non-standard products, thereby reducing the supply of products that shrink dealer channel profits from the source. However, as of now, Guizhou Moutai has not officially announced any related content regarding the above situation.

Is there anyone trapped with high-priced Moutai?
