Buying leads to declines, shorting leads to increases? You treat feelings as indicators; if you don’t cut losses, who will?
A 35-year-old veteran shares: I used the "Fool's Package" to turn a six-figure account into an eight-figure account, with no leverage, no insider information, only 7 iron rules, and a winning rate that's terrifyingly stable.
① Split the funds into five parts, with a 2% stop-loss for each trade
With 10,000 USDT split into 5 parts, a stop-loss of 10% per trade = total capital is 2%, you would only lose 10% after making 5 consecutive wrong trades.
For a profit-taking of ≥10% once, compound it for a year, and the account will grow like climbing stairs.
② Go with the trend = win effortlessly
A rebound in a downtrend = luring buyers, a pullback in an uptrend = throwing money away.
In October 2023, with BTC daily EMA30 trending up, I bought at 32,000 and sold at 39,000, +22%; in December, when it broke below EMA30, I stayed out, avoiding a -27% plunge.
③ Avoid sudden spikes of meme coins
Any that rise >50% in three days are blacklisted; stagnation at high levels + dwindling volume = a death trap.
In 2024, a certain MEME rose +400% in three days, I held back, and a week later it was -85%, thus escaping disaster.
④ Use MACD as a traffic light
A golden cross below the 0 axis + breaking above the 0 axis = buy; a death cross above the 0 axis = reduce positions. So simple it’s boring, yet it helps avoid 90% of traps.
⑤ Only enter when both volume and price rise
A breakout with volume at low levels = funds entering, a stagnation with volume at high levels = major players exiting.
In 2025, SOL broke out with volume at a low level at 120 USDT, I followed up, reduced at 140 USDT, and made 16%.
⑥ Use moving averages to see trends
A 3-day line trending up = short-term bullish, a 30-day line trending up = medium-term bullish, an 84-day line trending up = primary upward wave, a 120-day line trending up = long-term bullish.
Hold positions online, stay out offline, and keep a cool head.
⑦ Weekly review
Fixed weekly reviews every Sunday night: Has the trend changed? Are the signals still there? Is the sentiment still influencing trades?
Write a 100-word summary; if you make more than three mistakes, reduce positions by 50%, allowing the account to "cool down" first.
Throw feelings into the trash can, stick to the “Fool's Package,” and the market won’t cut you; instead, it will give you red envelopes.
Those who can survive and still profit in the market are always the ones who dare to reach out first.
