If we remove emotions and short-term prices and only look at the structure, judging a Web3 entertainment project isn't actually complicated.
There are three main questions: Is there anyone using it? Is there anyone paying? Are the tokens being consumed?
First, let's look at the user layer.
Audiera's foundation comes from the DJMAX series, accumulating 600 million historical users, which is a well-validated general entertainment IP. More importantly, it doesn't just stay at the Web2 level. Now there are over 5 million Web3 users on the chain, and the activity level in the music and entertainment applications of the BNB ecosystem is not low. This at least indicates that user migration is not just a slogan.
The second layer is revenue.
The AI Payment launched in December is the most crucial step for Audiera right now. AI music generation and creation services are no longer free experiences but are paid for through $BEAT . As of now, there has been over 148,900+ in revenue generated from $BEAT on the chain. This number itself may not decide everything, but it represents one thing: the product is starting to show a willingness to pay, rather than just relying on subsidies to maintain activity.
The third layer, which is often overlooked, is destruction.
These revenues haven't simply accumulated but have been clearly integrated into a weekly fixed Burn mechanism. The first batch of 125,000 BEAT has already been destroyed, and this is a continuously executed pathway. In other words, the more users use it, the faster the tokens are consumed, leading to a substantial contraction on the supply side.
Putting these three points together and looking back at the comparisons in the industry becomes very clear.
MapleStory has proven that established IP can go on-chain, but its economic design still leans towards the traditional, emphasizing issuance and scale. What Audiera is attempting is something else: empowering content with AI, using payment to sustain behavior, and using deflationary mechanisms to reclaim value.
It's not necessarily about who is right or wrong, but from the perspective of model evolution, Audiera is taking a more 'evolutionary' route, which is why I am currently more optimistic about it.
