#Ethereum's consensus client Prysm has released its detailed analysis report on the Fusaka mainnet issue.

During this incident, nearly all Prysm nodes faced resource exhaustion while processing some specific proofs.

As a result, validators' requests could not be handled in time.

This issue persisted from epochs 411439 to 411480, during which 248 blocks were missed within 42 epochs.

During this duration, the block missing rate was recorded at 18.5 percent.

Network participation also dropped to 75 percent.

As a result, validators incurred a loss of approximately 382 ETH proof rewards.

According to the Prysm team, the main issue was that beacon nodes were receiving such proofs from unsynchronized nodes that were referencing old block roots.

To verify these proofs, Prysm had to rebuild old states, leading to heavy recalculations and increased resource load.

As a temporary solution, users were advised to use the --disable-last-epoch-target parameter.

For a long-term fix, permanent solutions will be included in Prysm's future versions 7.1 and 7.1.0.
