According to Coindesk, the Nasdaq 100 index removed 6 companies and added 3 companies in its annual adjustment, which will take effect on December 22. Bitcoin treasury company Strategy will remain in the Nasdaq 100 index.
Strategy was originally a business software provider, MicroStrategy, and transformed in 2020 to make accumulating Bitcoin its core strategy. Since then, the company has accumulated 660,624 Bitcoins worth $59.55 billion and was included in the index last December. $BTC
