I. Trend Structure
BTC/USDT has been oscillating lower from above 89k, currently around 88,000 USD. The price is running along a clear descending channel, with the K-line overall pressed below MA7, MA25, and MA99. The moving averages are in a bearish arrangement, with the short-term dominated by a one-sided downward trend, and no effective stop-loss signal has emerged yet.
II. Key Price Levels
Support Level: 87,800–87,600
Close to the channel lower track and coinciding with previous lows. If it breaks down with volume, it may further point to 87,000 or even lower levels.
Resistance Level: 88,600–88,800
This area is the channel upper track and a dense area of short moving averages. If the rebound struggles to recover and stabilize above it, the rebound is mostly seen as a short covering.
III. Long and Short Power Comparison
Bullish: Although there are sporadic lower shadows, indicating that some funds are buying at lows, the overall volume is relatively weak, and the height of the rebound is limited.
Bearish: Continuously suppressing prices along the channel upper track, each time the price pulls back, it is quickly pushed back down, and the moving averages are moving down simultaneously, indicating that selling pressure remains dominant, with a clear bearish trend advantage.
IV. Trading Strategy Reference
Trend Following Short: When the price rebounds to the range of 88,600–88,800, close to the channel upper track and encounters resistance with volume, consider a small position short, targeting 88,000 and 87,800, with a stop loss above 89,000.
Counter-Trend Long: Only consider a light position long when there is a volume contraction stabilization in the area of 87,800 and a breakout with a volume bullish candle above the channel upper track, first target 88,600–88,800, with a stop loss below 87,500.
V. Risk Warning
Currently in a clearly downward channel, with the main direction biased towards bearish, but the volatility is large, making it easy to have sharp drops and sharp rises. Regardless of long or short positions, be sure to control position sizes and leverage, prioritizing risk control. The above is only a technical analysis reference and does not constitute investment advice. #BTC $BTC
