🤗 Kevin Warsh emerges in the race for the Fed Chair position following Trump's "shortlist" move.

U.S. President Donald Trump has narrowed the list of candidates for the Fed Chair down to two names: Kevin Warsh (former Fed Governor) and Kevin Hassett (Director of the NEC).

Immediately after Trump announced, the market reacted strongly: on betting platforms and crypto-related prediction markets, the probability of Warsh becoming Fed Chair increased from around 12% to over 38% in just a few days.

Although Hassett is still considered the leading candidate, his advantage is shrinking as traders assess Warsh as a better fit for Trump's low-interest rate priority.

Many investors hope that if appointed, Warsh will support quicker and more substantial interest rate cuts compared to the Fed's current stance.
