According to TechFlow news on December 15, Business Wire reported that the cryptocurrency fund C1 Fund Inc. (NYSE: CFND) has announced the acquisition of shares in the blockchain software company Consensys. Consensys is a significant contributor to the Ethereum ecosystem and owns the globally most widely used self-custody Ethereum wallet, MetaMask.

This is the sixth investment publicly announced by C1 Fund since its IPO on August 7, 2025, following previous investments in companies such as Kraken, Ripple, Figment, Chainalysis, and Alchemy.

C1 Fund Chief Investment Officer Elliot Han stated that Consensys is at the center of the Ethereum ecosystem, providing infrastructure support to developers and making open finance accessible globally through applications like MetaMask. This investment reflects the company's strong confidence in Consensys' diversified product platform.
