Nepal lifts decade-long ban on Indian high-value notes!

Good news for travelers and businesspeople! Nepal has allowed Indian banknotes of Rs 200 and Rs 500 up to INR 25,000 per person, easing restrictions and facilitating trade and tourism between India and Nepal.

This decision comes after RBI's amendment to Foreign Exchange Management regulations, making it easier for Nepali and Indian citizens to carry higher denomination Indian currency.
