Solana Foundation Works With Project Eleven on Quantum-Resistant Security
The Solana Foundation has partnered with Project Eleven to prepare the network for future risks linked to quantum computing. Project Eleven so which focuses on the post-quantum cryptography also carried out a detailed review of how the advanced quantum technology could affect Solana’s core systems, including the wallets, validators and the long-term security assumptions. As part of the collaboration so the team built a Solana testnet using post-quantum digital signatures and successfully ran end to end transactions to show the approach can scale.
Earlier this year, Project Eleven raised $6 million to develop tools aimed at protecting digital assets from potential quantum threats.
