WARING ⚠️THE END OF $BTC IN 2028

Analysts are increasingly warning that advances in quantum computing could pose a serious threat to Bitcoin by 2028 if the network doesn’t adopt quantum-resistant security measures. Charles Edwards of Capriole Fund cautioned that failure to implement Bitcoin Improvement Proposal 360 (BIP-360) — which introduces quantum-safe signatures — could trigger “the biggest bear market in history.”

The concerns stem from major tech breakthroughs such as Google’s Willow chip, which demonstrated quantum advantage, and forecasts suggesting quantum computers might crack Bitcoin’s cryptography within five years. Analysts like Luke Gromen believe this risk could push Bitcoin’s price as low as $40,000 by 2026.

However, other experts remain calm. Michael Saylor argued that Bitcoin would adapt and emerge stronger, while Grayscale noted that quantum attacks are unlikely before 2030. The U.S. NSA and NIST are already planning transitions to quantum-safe encryption standards over the next decade.
