According to Decrypt, Jarett Dunn, a former Pumpfun developer from Canada, was sentenced to six years in prison by a court in London, UK, for fraud and the transfer of criminal property. While serving as a senior developer at Pumpfun, Dunn misappropriated approximately $2 million worth of Solana from the company and distributed the funds to multiple random wallet addresses. After the incident, Dunn admitted to this behavior on social media and attempted to defend himself as a whistleblower, but the court did not accept this. The court's ruling includes part of his previous detention period, and Dunn remains in custody in London, awaiting deportation back to Canada.
