Bitcoin has maintained its position as number one for many years. However, the crypto market has changed dramatically: about 40% of the coins in the top 10 from 2017 have been replaced by new names, indicating a fierce level of attrition in the market.

This reality shows that only a very few projects can exist long-term, with Bitcoin remaining the rare exception that continuously leads the entire market.
