The world's first 6-ton class tilt-rotor aircraft, Lan Ying R6000, successfully completed its test flight
Recently, the world's first 6-ton class tilt-rotor aircraft, the Lan Ying R6000, independently developed by the United Aircraft Group, successfully completed joint debugging, testing, and scientific research test flight tasks in Shifang, Deyang, Sichuan. This marks a major breakthrough in China's cutting-edge aviation technology field, placing the country among the few globally that master core technologies.
As the largest full-tilt rotor unmanned aerial vehicle in China, the Lan Ying R6000 integrates the vertical take-off and landing advantages of helicopters with the high-speed cruising benefits of fixed-wing aircraft. It utilizes a 90-degree tilt rotor design, allowing for flexible switching between vertical take-off and landing and columnar take-off modes, and can be deployed in small areas without a dedicated runway. Its core performance indicators are impressive: maximum take-off weight of 6 tons, commercial load capacity of up to 2 tons, cruising speed of 550 kilometers per hour, range exceeding 4000 kilometers, and maximum altitude of 7620 meters, significantly surpassing conventional helicopters.
This aircraft is equipped with the domestically developed AES100 aviation engine, employs a redundant optical control system, and features safety functions such as anti-icing, lightning resistance, and collision prevention, enabling stable operation in extreme environments. Its application scenarios are wide-ranging, covering high-end logistics, emergency rescue, medical transport, and special operations, with plans to launch a manned version in the future.
The success of this test flight lays the foundation for the mass production of the Lan Ying R6000, driving the coordinated development of upstream and downstream industrial chains, improving the low-altitude economic industry ecosystem, and injecting strong momentum into the innovation of China's aviation equipment industry and regional economic development.
