[Newbie Classroom Lecture 8: Why do skilled traders almost never predict tops and bottoms?]
Many beginners have an obsession:
"I want to buy at the lowest point and sell at the highest point."
But you will find a very counterintuitive phenomenon:
👉 Truly skilled long-term traders hardly ever predict tops and bottoms.
Why?
One, tops and bottoms are essentially "post-event concepts".
What you see as a "perfect top / perfect bottom",
99% are drawn only after they have completed.
In real market conditions:
• When the top appears, it seems all positive news.
• When the bottom appears, it seems all negative news.
📉 When you "confirm it's the top", the price has often already dropped significantly.
