🚨 The second round of the tax war begins
Trump just threatened to cut Canada off from the largest market in the world.
A 100% tariff is not a negotiating tactic... it is a death sentence for their economy.
Here’s why and what is likely to happen next week:
Trump believes that Canada is being used as a middleman.
He bets that China will ship parts to Ontario, slap a "Made in Canada" label on them, and then bring them into the United States tariff-free.
The 100% tariff is his way of shutting the door completely before these parts reach Canada.
Things took a personal turn this week.
Carney visited Switzerland and referred to Trump as a dictator.
Trump responded by saying that Canada exists only because we allowed them to.
Now, he ties their entire economy to two things:
– Immediately canceling the agreement with China.
- Giving up complete control of the Greenland defense project.
He is not seeking a solution that satisfies both sides, but rather capitulation.
Canada has no backup plan... 75% of its industries come to it.
If these tariffs are imposed, the Canadian dollar will become worthless, and their businesses will collapse by the end of next week.
Carney must choose: maintain his dignity and his agreement with Beijing, or prevent his country from going bankrupt.
