AI giants may not yet realize the power of Web3 hard drives
The current AI competition is essentially an arms race of computing power and data. Storing them in AWS is certainly convenient, but it essentially hands over control to centralized giants. In decentralized AI training, how do you ensure that nodes are genuinely using the raw data you provided? Walrus's architecture inherently includes verification logic, so you can easily check whether the data is present and correct on the chain. This level of transparency is something traditional cloud storage can never offer. When AI computing power begins to decentralize, efficient and verifiable storage solutions like Walrus will be the most reliable logistical support.
