🛡️ Your wallet is your castle. How to avoid being robbed in 2026?
In the age of advanced artificial intelligence and deepfakes, a traditional password is not enough. If you hold assets on the exchange like $BTC , $ETH , or $BNB , you must stay one step ahead of scammers.
Here is my "iron list" of security measures that everyone should implement immediately:
Say goodbye to SMS, greet Passkeys 🔑
SIM-swap fraud is a plague. Instead of SMS codes, use Binance Authenticator or hardware security keys (e.g., YubiKey). This is currently the most effective barrier.
Anti-phishing Code 📧
This is a simple yet brilliant feature in Binance settings. If you receive an email from the exchange without your unique code – know that it is a phishing attempt. Delete it immediately!
Address Whitelist 📝
Enable the feature for approved withdrawal addresses. Even if someone takes over your account, they will not be able to immediately withdraw funds to their wallet.
Principle of Limited Trust 🚫
Remember: Binance employees will NEVER message you first on Telegram or WhatsApp asking for funds or passwords. If someone does – they are 100% a scammer.
And you? When was the last time you changed your passwords or checked your access keys?
