Harvard should be able to pay tuition with Bitcoin

【Harvard's Bitcoin holdings surged 257% to $443 million in the third quarter】 Regulatory documents show that Harvard University significantly increased its holdings in Bitcoin-related assets in the third quarter of 2025, with its iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) valued at $442.8 million, a 257% increase from the second quarter, making it the largest single asset in its disclosed holdings, surpassing traditional stock holdings like Microsoft, Amazon, and Nvidia. Emory University increased its Bitcoin ETF holdings to $52 million in the third quarter; the Wisconsin Investment Board holds about $387 million in IBIT; JPMorgan also raised its holdings by 64% to $343 million. Grayscale Investments, a digital currency asset management company in the United States, announced that it will apply for an IPO to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol 'GRAY'. The prospectus shows that this issuance will adopt an Up-C structure, and the funds raised will be used to repurchase shares of Grayscale Operating, LLC from its Pre-IPO shareholders (controlled by DCG).
