Eight years is enough to witness the rise and fall of an era. We have shared the glory of the EOS mainnet launch and also experienced the long winter of ecological decline, plummeting coin prices, and governance failures together. The community's disappointment with Block.one and distrust of ENF have become heavy shackles we all bear, and we cannot continue to sink in silence.
Today, 🔥 the EOS Community Foundation (ECF), spontaneously organized by community OGs, officially announces its establishment. ECF is an organization completely formed by the community, with members coming from community holders, representing community interests. ECF calls on every investor to participate in voting and governance, to support BPs and organizations that align with community interests, and to reshape the future together.
The mission of ECF is to truly return governance power to every community member's hands! We are not only a ballot box that consolidates community consensus — casting key support votes for BPs that align with ecological interests; we are also an efficient communication hub — breaking down dialogue barriers with various ecological organizations, connecting every core role in the ecosystem. In a posture of co-building, co-governing, and sharing, let every demand be accurately transmitted, and every right have a concrete response, so governance is no longer disconnected, and voices must have a response. At the same time, we will firmly represent the community's stance and stand against any actions that violate community interests, ensuring governance has warmth and edge!
