Since Katana went live this July, Morpho was the first defi protocol on Katana along with Yearn and Sushiswap. It started with $155M TVL which was the fourth biggest among the morpho TVL's of all chains

Currently, Morpho via Katana TVL at $430M which is
about 2.8x from the starting point. $155M start is impressive and 3 times bigger now is super impressive.

As a defi focused chain, most users on Katana is DeFi friendly. I guess they know how to play with Morpho lending and looping.

This August, there was a huge announcement between OCG and Monad on Moonbird X Monad partnership. The announcement was about there will be an AIRDROP for Moonbird holders!
I'm still not sure it is only for the Moonbirds x Monad Purple Pass SBT holders or not but still we will see what happens tmrw.

Before I say anything, I really admire NFT strategy. It helps a lot on NFT projects to get attention from the market. No doubt it brought the hype last month to many bluechip NFTs such as Punks, Pengu, Moonbirds, you name it. Full respect

However, there are few reasons I just let it go tho I've been monitoring new STRs and $birbstr

It's intrinsic value come from the burning mechanism. It's not NFTs it's holding. Since it buy low and sell high, STRs do not reduce the liquidity from the market. Yes, it helps to increase the price of Moonbirds. But, it keeps listing the Birds. (= number of Birds on sale stays the same)

Then, what happens? Profit goes to burn $birdstr but nothing to do with Moonbird NFTs. It definitely helps the Projects to get more royalty fee (which is huge support to the team!)

We see all the STR tokens utilizing bluechip NFTs while the STR investors expect 'wen burn' right? Similar play as Opensea or any other exchanges, so-called 'platform play'

With full agreement on what @spencer stated, I would rather focus on $birb which is for the CT, the Project team. Until then, its better to just make some more money and buy more Moonbirds. #birbish

Let's do the math again in Conservative PoV
Based on Pudgy Penguin, Azuki, Doodles NFT ( $PENGU, $ANIME, $DOOD) $BIRB highly likely range between $400M ~ $1.5B FDV

Since we now fear the bear market, let's assume it starts with $400M FDV and 30% allocation to Moonbirds. That's $120M worth of $BIRB allocation.
Even in a very very very (x 1000) conservative calculation, we get $12K per Moonbird.

Yes, if it's a bear market, there is no benchmark to target on. (Even, $PENGU did TGE in bull market. Last December, $BTC reached ATH with $100K for the first time)

Still with the past data we have for now, it is no brainer price on Moonbirds now. Will you buy? Will you wait? Well, I'm #birbish
