First, regarding Ethereum, around 3250 is indeed a high-pressure point. The price dropped immediately by 7% to 3060 after reaching this point, falling very quickly. So if you're positioning for the long term, you can hold on as originally planned, and short the remaining position the day before the interest rate cut, entering in batches. After the interest rate cut, the price will gradually start to decline. If you're trading short-term, you can take profits on dips and short again before the interest rate cut as well.
