💲🤑I've got a surprise for you in the two pinned posts on my profile..🍀💸 #EstafasP2P Watch out for this new P2P scam technique!!!! I almost lost 100$ in a P2P scam attempt on Binance and another P2P exchange. I received an order for 100$ on Binance. The buyer confirmed the payment and asked me to release the funds. When I received the money, I was about to release it when I asked for proof of payment. They just sent the transfer reference. Since I received the money and the name matched, I released it. A few minutes later, another person placed an order for 100$ with me on another P2P exchange where they had the same trader name. They marked the order as paid without making any payment. I asked them to pay or provide proof for verification. They launched a dispute and provided a screenshot of the payment that was exactly the same as the previous payment I received for the Binance offer. Fortunately for me, I had that reference from the Binance transaction, so I won the dispute. From now on, I always ask for proof of payment like a screenshot. Tips to avoid this: - Try not to use the same trader name across different platforms - Always request clear proof of payment (you can make this mandatory when creating your offer) - Avoid third-party payments
