Now, #Porvenir , one of the largest pension funds in Colombia, recently announced that its members can invest in Bitcoin.
At the Asofondos Congress 2026, around April 22, Porvenir introduced the Crypto Porvenir Portfolio.
It's a portfolio within voluntary pensions that tracks the price of #Bitcoin through BlackRock's IBIT ETF (one of the largest in the world, with over USD 50 billion in assets). You don't buy Bitcoin directly or manage wallets or private keys: everything is regulated and through Porvenir.
Investments start from 100,000 Colombian pesos (COP), aiming to offer diversification and greater access to digital assets in a secure and straightforward way, without the operational risks of traditional cryptos.
