From Build to FHE: How Mind Network and Chainlink are Building the Future of Privacy in Web3
A shared judgment on the future of Web3 is evolving into a technological fusion that defines next-generation infrastructure. This article will frame the journey of Mind Network and Chainlink for the Mind Network community. The starting point of this story is a profound insight: If ZKP (Zero-Knowledge Proofs) solved the problem of verifiability for Web3, thenĀ FHE (Fully Homomorphic Encryption) will solve the problem of confidential computing. This journey demonstrates how a shared commitment evolves into a deep engineering implementation based on FHE. Phase 1: Starting with Strategic Trust and Ecosystem Building (Build) āIf we want a civilization with privacy, we have to make it. We have to be computers, cryptographers, and⦠build the systems that give us the privacy we want.āāNeal Stephenson, Cryptonomicon This call to action fromĀ CryptonomiconĀ is the spiritual core of Mind Network. Privacy is not the default; it must be actively built. When Mind Network announced its first $2.5 million seed round, Chainlink was already listed as a ākey strategic partner.ā Mind Network shares a common goal with institutions like Binance Labs and Consensys: āto enhance the security and data privacy of the entire Web3 ecosystem.ā This strategic alignment materialized in January 2023:Ā Mind Network officially joined the Chainlink Build program.
Joining Build was a public declaration of commitment. The goal was clear: to accelerate the adoption of the ādecentralized privacy-preserving data lake.ā Through this program, Mind Network gained expert technical guidance and vast ecosystem resources from the Chainlink Labs team. To achieve deep ecosystem alignment, Mind Network committed 3% of its total native token supply to Chainlink service providers (including stakers). This commitment has recently begun to be actualized throughĀ Chainlink Rewards Season 1. In this program, Mind Networkās native token (FHE) will be claimable by eligible LINK token stakers. This not only strengthens the economic security of the Chainlink network but also allows Mind Networkās token to be deeply integrated into Chainlinkās ecosystem. Learn more here:Ā https://blog.chain.link/chainlink-rewards-season-1 Phase 2: From āHTTPā to āHTTPZā āPrivacy is not secrecy⦠Privacy is the power to selectively reveal oneself to the world.āBruce Schneier, renowned cryptographer and security thinker Bruce Schneier provides the best technical definition of āprivacyā: it is about ācontrol.ā FHE (Fully Homomorphic Encryption) is the ultimate technology for achieving this control. This collaboration quickly pivoted to core technology integration to solve one of the industryās most difficult challenges: cross-chain security and privacy. Web2ās HTTPS protocol only encrypts data āin transit.ā Web3 needs a protocol that encrypts data āin transit, at rest, andĀ in use.ā This isĀ HTTPZ, a true Zero-Trust Network. In May 2024, FHE engineering breakthroughs led to theĀ FHE Bridge, an institutional-level product developed by Mind Network using Chainlink CCIP.
This revolutionary solution is the first to simultaneously solve the dual challenges of cross-chain security and computational privacy: The Quantum-Resistant Encryption Layer (FHE):Ā The FHE algorithms are based on lattice cryptography, making them inherently resistant to quantum computing attacks. It allows computation and validation directly on encrypted data, which is the key to achieving a true āHTTPZ.āThe Interoperability Standard (CCIP):Ā As the industry-standard cross-chain solution, Chainlink CCIP provides the FHE Bridge with an unparalleled foundation of security and messaging capabilities. In simple terms:Ā When a user interacts with the FHE Bridge, MindSAP (FHE stealth address protocol) encrypts the userās transactional intent and addresses. The FHE validation nodes can then compute the validity of the transactionĀ without ever decryptingĀ this information. Finally, the instructions and assets are securely transmitted to the destination chain via CCIP. This marks the evolution of the collaboration from āecosystem buildingā to ātechnical building.ā Advancing Together: Empowering Agentic AI and the āAutonomous Intelligent Economyā āThe best way to predict the future is to invent it.āAlan Kay, computer science pioneer, Turing Award winner
The story of Mind Network and Chainlink is one of commitment and evolution. Strategic Trust:Ā Chainlink as a key strategic partner.Ecological Commitment:Ā Joining Build and launching Rewards Season 1, deeply participating in Chainlinkās ecosystem.Technological Fusion:Ā Developing the FHE Bridge, merging FHEās quantum-resistant encrypted computation with CCIPās secure cross-chain messaging. This story proves the Mind Network philosophy: True builders find each other. The FHE Bridge is not just built for token transfers; it is building critical infrastructure for the next wave of Web3. The essence of AI is processing data, yet the essence of blockchain is public transparency. A fully transparent AI agent cannot protect trade secrets, hold an edge in financial markets, or protect user privacy. The rise of Agentic AI will transform confidential computing from a ānice-to-haveā into a āmust-have.ā This is where FHE becomes essential. FHE allows an AI agent to perform computation and reasoning on encrypted data, giving it the most critical capability: āThe Ability to Think Confidentially.ā But an agent that only āthinksā is not enough; it must āact.ā In a multi-chain universe, an agent that cannot move cross-chain is crippled. Chainlink CCIP, as the industry standard interoperability protocol, provides its second critical capability: āThe Ability to Act Securely.ā Therefore, the FHE Bridge is the prototype of a complete infrastructure stack: Mind Network (FHE) provides the āConfidential Brain.āChainlink (CCIP) provides the āSecure Nervous System.ā Whether itās the x402 protocol for AI agent micropayments or sensitive transactions involving RWAs (Real-World Assets) by institutions, FHE will play an indispensable role in protecting commercial secrets and transactional privacy. When AI agents or institutions need to execute complex, cross-chain tasks involving confidential data, they will require a channel that is both secure (powered by CCIP) and private (guaranteed by FHE). This is the future Mind Network and Chainlink are building together. This journey is just beginning.
From joining Build to developing the FHE Bridge on CCIP, our journey with @chainlink has evolved into a deep technical integration, unlocking the future of crypto privacy together.
Key Milestones:
š¹Build & Claim: Chainlink Rewards Season 1 is now live.
š¹FHE Bridge: A Mind Network product that leverages CCIP to enables users to send encrypted, confidential messages.
š¹Agentic AI: Building the infrastructure for the Autonomous Intelligent Economy.
Real World Assets (#RWAs) such as real estate, stablecoin settlements, and cross-border finance require more than just value transfer.
These use cases depend on transactions that carry purpose, identity, and audit trails with compliance and privacy.
#SWIFT standardizes messages for compliance and settlement. Blockchains still lack a native encrypted way to express these attributes.
Encrypted Messaging Onchain is a new protocol that allows wallets to send encrypted, structured, and verifiable messages directly alongside any onchain transaction.
ā Auto-structured text for semantic clarity
ā Wallet-based keygen for end-to-end encryption
ā Encrypted messages linked to transactions with audit trails and access control
Encrypted Messaging Onchain combines Fully Homomorphic Encryption (#FHE) with conventional cryptographic techniques to turn sensitive data into secure onchain payloads, accessible only to intended recipients.

The Age of Agents: How Mind Network Drives the AgenticWorld Intelligent World?
The dawn of agent AI: Dreams begin to take shape
Initially, artificial intelligence was merely a distant fantasy for most. It was born from the imaginations of pioneers like Alan Turing and John McCarthy, an ideal rather than a reality. As early as the 1950s, Turing posed that famous question: 'Can machines think like us?' McCarthy first coined the term 'artificial intelligence' in 1956, envisioning systems that could simulate human reasoning. Over the following decades, we invented various tools, from calculators to software to industrial robots. The essence of these tools is that they passively respond to human instructions.
How does Mind Network build the foundation of Agentic World based on FHE?
By: Deep Tide TechFlow As the world's first FHE blockchain specifically designed for AI agents, MindChain is the underlying infrastructure of AgenticWorld. Motivation for Building AgenticWorld We have experienced the baptism of several technological waves in the past, and today, we firmly believe that the era of Agentic AI has arrived. Unless MAGA (Microsoft, Apple, Google, Amazon) has bet on the wrong AI, it is certain that in the near future, each of us will have and entrust one or more Agentic AI to perform tasks for us. These intelligent agents will collaborate under our authorization - automatically working, negotiating and making decisions.
HashKey Capital Insights shared a comprehensive article explaining both the challenges and paradigm-shifting potential of Fully Homomorphic Encryption (#FHE). We were happy to contribute to this article alongside other prominent Web3 FHE projects.
We're going to break it down for you and give you the takeaways.
1⣠The big takeaway: FHE is the Holy Grail of Cryptography for a reason. It is changing the way we secure data across platforms, painting an almost unbelievable new era for data privacy.
2⣠The primary limitations of FHE DevEx: 1) Easy front-end language 2) A fully functional FHE compiler 3) FHE schemes are too slow
3⣠New solutions to these limitations: 1) Web3-specific FHE compilers offer the best performance without hardware accelerators 2) New FHE libraries that leverage the popular Web3 programming languages 3) Zama's toolkit exposes homomorphic operations as precompiled contracts
4⣠ZKPs & FHE - a match made in privacy heaven. FHE allows anyone to perform computation on encrypted data. ZKPs allow one to prove something is true without revealing the underlying information itself. This is how they work together: 1) Making sure the ciphertext meets the requirements of the encryption scheme 2) Submitting a proof that an input plaintext satisfies a given application's conditions 3) The validator node needs to prove they've correctly executed the FHE computation
5⣠ZKPs of ciphertext. ZKPs like SNARKS and STARKS do not rely on lattice cryptography; FHE does. This means that FHE is 'post-quantum'. In other words, ZKPs alone are not resistant to quantum computing attacks, but FHE is.
6⣠The hardware problem. FHE on existing hardware is inefficient and not scalable in a decentralized way. Verifiable FHE solves this by allowing the computing party to submit a ZKP for proof of honest execution of transactions.
