Spanish airlines will be able to fully cover flights for foreign vacationers during the holiday season from May to October 2026, as they won't face a shortage of aviation fuel. This was revealed following a meeting of the Spanish Airline Association (AIA) held in Madrid at the end of last week.

The budget airline from Ireland, Ryanair, is shutting down its base in Berlin, pulling all seven of its planes out of Berlin Brandenburg Airport and cutting its flights to the German capital by 50%. This will reduce the annual passenger traffic from 4.5 million to 2.2 million people. The company announced this in a press release posted on Friday, April 24.
