#Write2Earn The Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation justified Trump's position on the existence of a drug threat from Venezuela.
A resident of the Belgorod region was accused of organizing the transportation of 8.7 tons of cocaine from Venezuela, the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation reported.
In 2018, a woman and a Spanish national hired a crew in Russia for a cargo ship that was supposed to sail under the Panamanian flag from Panama to Morocco. The ship changed course to Venezuela and the crew took on board nearly 9 tons of cocaine, after which it headed to the destination port. However, due to the death of one of those on board, the cocaine-laden ship was forced to enter the port of Praia in Cape Verde, where it was detained by the police.
The criminal case against a 51-year-old woman has been sent to the court of the Belgorod region for consideration on the merits. She has been charged under the article on attempted illegal trafficking of narcotic substances in particularly large amounts.
