The Federal Reserve in December, Bitcoin briefly breaks $89,000, and the Nasdaq index rose by 2.69%
On November 25, Federal Reserve Board member Waller stated that he supports a rate cut at the December meeting. He noted that inflation has risen slightly, but he believes that inflation will begin to decline. Next January will be challenging, as a lot of data will be released to determine whether a further rate cut is needed. Federal Reserve President of San Francisco and 2027 Federal Open Market Committee member, Daly, stated that she supports a rate cut in December, as she sees that the likelihood of a sudden downturn in the labor market is greater and harder to control than a sudden rise in inflation. According to CME's "Fed Watch," the probability of a 25 basis point rate cut in December has risen to 82.7%, while the likelihood of keeping the interest rate unchanged is 17.3%.
