The volatile course of Bitcoin over the last three days: a drop of 10%, followed by a rebound of 10%.
This volatility is dizzying! Even the major alternative cryptocurrencies can be caught in the gears of price manipulation when holdings are concentrated in the hands of a small group. It only takes a few major players to shake the entire market.
This observation leads me to closely follow the strategy of the Pi Core team:
🔹 They strive to build a sufficiently robust ecosystem before fully opening up to the market.
🔹 They minimize the risk that one person or organization holds an excessive amount of Pi.
🔹 They reduce the risk of price manipulation during the initial phase.
🔹 They create a distribution model that is more community-focused. Not all projects adopt this approach of 'slow and steady development'.
If Pi truly adheres to this philosophy, it will be a highly humanitarian and beneficial measure for the sustainability of the project.
⏳ We will see if they can truly escape the cycle of stock market manipulation in which the entire market is still mired.
