My strategy consists of respecting chart patterns and following the trail of volume to know if there is strength or weakness in the price accompanying the structure. Then I wait for the stochastic indicators, RSI, MACD to match the structure on the chart and place the order. Having a defined ROI helps create discipline and respect the trading plan.
