According to Foresight News, Ondo Finance announced that it has submitted its tokenized securities roadmap to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). In the letter, Ondo urged the SEC to allow direct registration, beneficial ownership, and the coexistence of packaged and associated securities ownership models.

Ondo proposed to support direct and intermediary ownership models, accepting licensed, unlicensed, and hybrid blockchains, and to provide regulatory clarity for tokenization based on transfer agents. Ondo looks forward to more support from the SEC for tokenized securities.
