🇭🇰 HASHKEY PREPARES FOR IPO AND BECOMES THE FIRST CRYPTO EXCHANGE LISTED IN HONG KONG
🔸 HashKey, Hong Kong's largest crypto exchange, is preparing for an IPO to raise HK$1.67 billion and become the first digital asset exchange to be listed.
🔸 The company plans to sell over 240 million shares, valuing the asset at a maximum of approximately HK$19 billion (~US$2.44 billion), and will begin trading on December 17th.
🔸 HashKey accounts for over 75% of the legal crypto trading volume in Hong Kong and operates an ecosystem encompassing exchange, custody, tokenization, and asset management.
🔸 Revenue increased rapidly from HK$129 million in 2022 to HK$721 million in 2024 thanks to demand for on-chain trading and services.
🔸 The IPO proceeds will be used to develop new products, upgrade custody services, expand liquidity, invest in staking infrastructure, and enhance security.
