According to Foresight News, Sei has announced a collaboration with Xiaomi focusing on pre-installing a mobile financial application based on Sei, enabling Web3 access for mobile users. Xiaomi will not directly support or operate any digital currency payment functions or stablecoins.
Previously, Foresight News reported that Sei and global consumer electronics giant Xiaomi have reached a partnership to pre-install next-generation crypto wallets and discovery applications on all newly launched Xiaomi smartphones, excluding those in mainland China and the United States. This initiative aims to foster innovation in practical blockchain applications in the retail sector through the subsequent development of stablecoin payment functionalities.
