2020 was a total capitulation.

Fear, panic, complete lack of hope.

🔍 So what do we have in 2025?

1️⃣ Overheating 2024

Alts were doing ×10–×30 after listings, FDV inflated to absurd levels, unlocks were pressuring from all sides.

Emotional burnout happened even before the year began.

2️⃣ Depression not due to fear, but due to disappointment

ETF, halving, institutions — everyone was waiting for a repeat of 2021.

Instead — drops of –60–90% and manipulations by market makers.

3️⃣ Liquidity exists — but only in the top-5

⚫️ 2020 vs 2025

2020: panic, death of projects, zero liquidity, no one expected anything.

2025: the market is alive, liquidity exists, but expectations were not met → and that is what hurts the most.

🎯 Why does 2025 feel the heaviest?

Because in 2020 there were no hopes at all.

And in 2025 everyone was betting on a better cycle, on a new alt season — and got a depression of unmet expectations.

And this mismatch between what 'should have been' and what we got — creates the feeling of the deepest pit in recent years.
