The regulation in China is indeed too strict. Just noting a Dogecoin worth 250 yuan can freeze the card!
A couple of days ago, I went to the bank to unfreeze my card, mainly because a student transferred money to my account, and another student transferred coins. I paid the money, and my card was immediately frozen!
I specifically went to the bank to ask what was going on, whether there was a problem with my money. The bank said they were afraid I might be scammed and asked if the money needed to be refunded. I said no, the other party is my friend. I requested to unfreeze it and provided a bunch of chat records and bank statements!
It was such a hassle. It's best not to use a bank card; WeChat and Alipay are fine. Definitely avoid withdrawing large amounts in one go. Just take out a little when you earn. Earn daily, withdraw daily, and maintain a steady flow.
