Binance enters the global race for tokenized stocks
Binance quietly added new features to its application programming interface (API) that indicate preparations for the launch of stock trading. The exchange clearly hasn't forgotten its ambitions in this area, despite the unsuccessful experience of 2021.
On December 11, the cryptocurrency exchange made changes to the API log, adding three new endpoints. One of them — with a URL including stock/contract — allows users to 'sign the TradFi-Perps agreement.' The other two provide the ability to request the trading session schedule for the upcoming week or obtain information about the current trading session.
