#合约爆仓 #资金费率
When shorting contracts, my biggest concern is the funding rate. Yesterday I shorted $BEAT and $FOLKS. Although I entered the position a bit early, I could still endure the floating loss. If I had held on until now, both would have been very profitable. But when I saw the expensive funding rate that occurs once every hour in the early morning, my heart sank. In the end, I couldn't bear the fear that I might be drained dry by the funding fees, so I closed the position at a loss.
There's a story about a person who was blindfolded and tied to a chair. Someone cut a small wound on his arm with a knife. Although it didn’t bleed much and quickly stopped, the person who cut him kept dripping water from a jar nearby, making the bound person think it was his own blood dripping down. In the end, he didn’t survive long enough to be rescued; he died from the fear he imagined.
Being drained and killed by funding fees when shorting feels somewhat like this.
