Important Reminder: The new policy for HSBC Hong Kong One account will take effect soon.
From January 1, 2026, new HSBC One account openings that simultaneously meet the following three conditions will incur a monthly service fee of HKD 100:
1️⃣ Opened after January 1, 2026
2️⃣ Non-Hong Kong Identity Card holders
3️⃣ Total wealth under HKD 10,000
Only if all three points are fully met will the HKD 100/month service fee be charged. There are still 15 days left to avoid this new regulation.
Execution must be strong; many things need to be handled in advance 🤦 It used to be easy to open a US stock trading account, but now the threshold is much higher.
