In this issue, we visited Houma City, Shanxi Province, to meet Xiao Chen ——
a boy born in 2017, with multiple disabilities at level 2, typical autism accompanied by intellectual disabilities.
Xiao Chen can currently name some common everyday items,
his language ability has gradually emerged in recent years,
more often he can only express basic needs with one or two simple words.
He is currently attending a special school and also goes to a rehabilitation center for classes from time to time,
but overall progress remains very slow,
this journey is destined to be a long and difficult persistence for the child and the family.
In this issue, the Duck Community donated 1000 yuan to Xiao Chen's family,
and provided some intervention directions and rehabilitation suggestions based on the family's actual situation,
hoping to bring some tangible support for the child's growth and the family's long-term efforts,
given the limited real conditions.
Thanks to every friend who continues to pay attention, share, and accompany the Duck Community,
allowing these children, who are often easily overlooked,
to be truly seen.
