The bullish market for altcoins often does not begin with consensus or clear belief. On the contrary, it usually appears when most of the market is still skeptical, uncertain, or caught up in other narratives.
While all eyes are still on Bitcoin, the money is quietly shifting and laying the groundwork for a new cycle.
That is how the altcoin seasons in the past have formed, and this time there is not much difference in terms of psychology.
I do not believe that everything will repeat exactly as in 2017. The market context, capitalization scale, and level of institutional participation have changed significantly. However, when looking at the overall structure, the similarities are hard to deny.
The prolonged accumulation process, the increasingly clear differentiation among projects, and the many altcoins being undervalued for a long time are creating familiar conditions. The only difference is that this cycle may be longer, slower, but also more selective and harsher.
If there is a notable point for the upcoming phase, it is the year 2026. For me, this is likely to be the year when altcoins truly step into the spotlight. Not all will win, but projects with a strong foundation, cash flow, and compelling narratives will have the clearest opportunity to shine.
