Market crash at launch confirmed that yETH was attacked; 1000 ETH stolen and transferred to a mixing protocol. On December 1, 2025, according to on-chain data and multiple reports, the DeFi protocol Yearn Finance's aggregated staking token product yETH was suspected to have suffered a hacker attack, resulting in approximately 1000 ETH (worth about 3 million USD) being stolen. The attacker exploited a vulnerability in the yETH smart contract to mint the token almost infinitely, profiting by depleting the asset pool in a single transaction before exiting. On-chain tracking shows that the stolen funds have been transferred to the privacy mixing protocol Tornado Cash, and multiple contracts used in the attack self-destructed after transactions, increasing the difficulty of tracing the funds. Yearn Finance's official response stated that they are investigating the incident related to the yETH LST stable pool, clarifying that its V2 and V3 Vaults were unaffected, and the specific scale of losses is still being verified. This incident continues the common practice in the DeFi space of hackers using mixing tools to launder illegal assets, once again highlighting the importance of smart contract security audits and on-chain fund monitoring.

Shocking! ⚠️$BTC Two police officers in South Korea were directly prosecuted for laundering $186 million in cryptocurrency! Recent news shows that two senior police officers (one police chief + one senior officer) in South Korea have been formally prosecuted and had already been dismissed! Prosecutors accuse these two of receiving huge benefits from a criminal gang between July 2022 and February 2024—receiving $59,000 in cash + luxury goods, and $7,500 in cash, then turning around to assist the criminal gang in illegal activities: providing insider information for police investigations, unfreezing accounts under investigation, and even helping to introduce lawyers and coordinate law enforcement resources, treating public power as a tool for profit! 🤯 Even more outrageous is the operation of this money laundering gang: they opened fake gift voucher shops in places like Seoul, which were actually illegal cryptocurrency exchanges, specializing in converting dirty money obtained from voice scams into USDT stablecoins, gradually “cleaning” the dirty money. Currently, South Korean authorities have frozen about $1.1 million in illegal assets, including 800 million won in USDT, but this is just the tip of the iceberg compared to the gang's total criminal proceeds! This incident also exposes the rampant money laundering in cryptocurrency—data from South Korean customs indicates that 83% of the money laundering amounts seized in the past five years were operated through virtual assets, totaling up to $6.8 billion! 🥶 Now, South Korea is set to introduce the strictest new anti-money laundering regulations, requiring real-name verification for even small cryptocurrency transfers, banning high-risk overseas platforms, and even granting regulatory agencies the authority to “pre-freeze accounts,” all in an effort to close loopholes. {spot}(BTCUSDT) #加密市场反弹

⚠️⚠️This morning, South Korea's largest cryptocurrency platform, Upbit, was attacked and 54 billion won was stolen. They promised to cover all customer losses. Although the amount stolen this time is not large, and the platform is actively addressing the situation, every time news of a trading platform being hacked comes out, it affects the price of BTC! 1. Mt.Gox (2014): 850,000 bitcoins were stolen, and BTC plummeted 25% in one day (from $535 to $400), and subsequently fell 80% to $111, becoming one of the most severe price crashes in BTC history. 2. Binance (March 2018): Hackers stole over 10,000 BTC, and BTC dropped 10% within an hour, breaking below the $10,000 mark, with a further monthly drop of nearly 30%. 3. Binance (July 2018): After news of the theft was released, BTC fell from $6,638 to $6,447 within an hour, a decline of nearly 3%. 4. Binance (May 2019): 7,000 BTC were stolen, and BTC dropped from $5,951.27 to $5,806.38 within an hour, a decline of nearly 3%. 5. FTX (November 2022): Due to liquidity shortages and related crises of theft, BTC fell from $20,500 to $16,900 within 24 hours, a drop of over 17%, and briefly dipped to $15,600. 6. Bybit (February 2025): Over $1.5 billion in assets were stolen, and BTC briefly dropped below $95,000 per coin, with a 24-hour decline of 2.42%.

"Maji" bets $23.85 million on long positions, crypto whale bets on ETH and HYPE Crypto "gambling king" Huang Licheng (Maji Brother) is launching aggressive operations again! On November 27, on-chain data shows that after closing his Bitcoin long positions, he increased his long positions in Ethereum (ETH) and HYPE tokens, raising his total position to $23.85 million (ETH long position $18.24 million, HYPE long position $5.6 million), continuing a firm bullish strategy. As a crypto whale transformed from a musician, Huang Licheng is known for high-leverage trading, having made a fortune in his early years through NFTs and Blur. In 2024, he earned $6.5 million from HYPE tokens. Recently, he has been very active, having just deposited $1 million USDC on November 25 to open a position, and just two days later increased his position again, showing confidence in the targeted assets. However, his trading career has been tumultuous: during the market crash in October, he plummeted from nearly $60 million to only $1,718. He has previously experienced massive losses twice before turning things around, accumulating contract profits of over $33 million. Currently, ETH has returned to the $3,000 mark, and his long position has a floating profit of $1.023 million, but the liquidation price of the ETH long position is only 5.8% below the opening price, so a slight market correction could trigger significant losses, and fans should be cautious of risks. This trader, who attracts attention, causes ripples in the crypto community with every position change. Whether this gamble is a precise bet or a repeat of past mistakes remains to be seen by the market. #比特币波动性 $BTC {spot}(BTCUSDT)

Even the ex-boyfriend of the 'father of ChatGPT' was robbed of over ten million dollars; how crazy is foreign robbery? When Sam Altman's ex-boyfriend, known as the 'father of ChatGPT,' became a robbery victim, a home invasion case involving $11 million in stolen goods revealed the rampant nature of robbery crimes in some countries to the world. This heinous incident occurring in a mansion in San Francisco is just a microcosm of the recent global chaos surrounding robberies. On local time November 22, 31-year-old venture capitalist Lachy Groom experienced a terrifying 90 minutes at home. A robber disguised as a UPS delivery person broke into his $4.4 million residence under the pretense of signing for a package and borrowing a pen, then pulled out a gun to take control of the situation, binding the victim with tape and continuing to beat him. Even more shocking, the robber opened the phone on speaker, allowing an accomplice with a foreign accent to verify personal information one by one, forcing the victim to hand over the private key to his encrypted wallet, ultimately robbing him of Ethereum and Bitcoin worth tens of millions of dollars, along with his phone and laptop. It is reported that this property was purchased by Groom from his brother, and his special identity quickly drew global attention to this new type of robbery case employing 'home invasion' tactics.

❶ "Bitcoin: The End of Money"|IMDb 7.8
My crypto enlightenment film✨ No exaggeration, just a calm record of Bitcoin's entire journey from birth to development. Only then did I understand that cryptocurrency is not speculation, but a revolution in value transmission; the moment of open-source code and consensus building is so powerful!

❷ "Blockchain Revolution"|Douban 8.9
A legendary popular science💡 Each episode focuses on a blockchain application scenario: DeFi, smart contracts, NFTs… technological innovation has really never stopped. Suddenly realized: the people chasing highs and lows today are essentially the same as those who questioned Bitcoin ten years ago!

❸ "King of Cryptocurrency"|Produced by Netflix
After watching, I immediately closed out my leveraged positions😰 The oral history from exchange participants is so heartbreaking; platforms package high-risk derivatives as “stable investments” to harvest newbies. The first lesson in investing: controlling risk is always more important than making quick money!

❹ "The Chronicles of Blockchain in China"|Searchable on Bilibili
A true portrayal of the domestic crypto space📝 Records key moments from Bitcoin crossing 10,000 in 2013 to regulatory implementation in 2021. Policies affect the market, retail investors get harvested, dollar-cost-averagers survive… not teaching you to get rich quickly, but teaching you not to be eliminated by cycles!

❺ "Banks vs Bitcoin"|Douban 8.7

A Russian man attempted to rob a cryptocurrency exchange platform with a fake grenade but was arrested on the spot.

According to BlockBeats citing DL News, the police in Saint Petersburg, Russia, arrested a 21-year-old man on November 22 who entered a local cryptocurrency exchange office, trying to rob digital assets by detonating a fake grenade, ultimately being controlled by the police at the scene.

The suspect is from Leningrad Oblast (District 47) and is currently unemployed. The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Saint Petersburg and Leningrad Oblast revealed that after the suspect entered the exchange office, he detonated two fake grenades and ignited a smoke bomb, subsequently demanding that staff transfer all the platform's digital assets to his personal wallet.

It is reported that these fake grenades are commonly used in real-life soft gas battle games, consisting of plastic BBs and resembling firecrackers, and are not lethal weapons. When the police arrested the suspect, they also seized two unexploded fake grenades from him; at the initial stage of the incident, the Ministry of Internal Affairs dispatched bomb disposal experts to the scene to confirm that the suspect was not carrying any real lethal explosives.

The man is currently in custody, and the police have charged him under Article 162 of the Russian Criminal Code (related to robbery). The specific name of the cryptocurrency exchange platform involved has not yet been disclosed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs or Russian media, but map data shows that the Yzex cryptocurrency exchange platform is located in the building where the incident occurred, and the office of the platform was still open on Saturday.
