In my opinion, the American Federal Reserve has two wings
One wing supports Trump, and the other supports Jerome Powell.
Trump's wing seeks personal gains and the interests of traders.
Jerome's wing seeks national gains and sustainability for the economy.
It seems that Trump's wing prevailed in the Federal Reserve's decision to cut the interest rate.
However, Jerome in the press conference did not convey a positive spirit and did not affirm the safety of the economy, stating that the situation is still not good and that things are unclear.
From the above, it appears that capital heads trust what Jerome Powell says, not what Trump and the Federal Reserve Council say.
