On January 3, 2009, on a server located in Helsinki, Finland, the anonymous mysterious tech geek Satoshi Nakamoto generated the first Bitcoin block, known as the Bitcoin genesis block. In the notes of the genesis block, Nakamoto wrote the front-page headline from that day’s UK (The Times): “The Times 03/Jan/2009 Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks” “(The Times), January 3, 2009, the Chancellor on the brink of a second bailout for banks.”
