The Chinese community is discussing donations and relationships, while the English community has recently exploded in the TCG scene due to a sudden event.

The catalyst is a mysterious collector who calls himself the 'Kabuto King,' who announced a crazy plan—to acquire and hoard all the 'first edition Kabuto (Fossil Armor)' Pokémon cards in the world.

Kabuto itself is quite low-profile; previously, a card was worth less than $1, but since he started his activities in August 2025, the price has skyrocketed to over $43, and some sellers have started hoarding and raising prices. According to his Twitter updates, he currently possesses over 1700 Kabuto cards.

At the same time, a meme called $KABUTO has emerged on Solana, using part of the transaction tax to fund Kabuto King’s continued acquisition of Kabuto cards.

Although many people are participating for entertainment purposes, it has still led to a community consensus in a short period, with the coin's price increasing by over 6 times at one point. Other memes in the TCG scene have also been affected and collectively saw a surge.

Kabuto King's 'violent hoarding' is not a financial innovation; it is essentially a replica of traditional market manipulation games. However, its ability to create a stir exposes a significant pain point in the current crypto market: there hasn't been a vessel that can connect the Web2 world with the same low threshold and instant attention economics as the previously popular NFTs and GameFi.

I am optimistic about the TCG scene because it combines the collection legacy of Web2 with the volatility favored by Web3. Kabuto King has proven that this card can make a splash, and the mission of TCG RWA projects like Renaiss is to normalize and financialize this primal impulse.

Renaiss is the first TCG RWA project on the BNB Chain. From the previous Aster to the recent Opinion, we can observe that the BNB ecosystem is very good at replicating the success of Dragon One in a popular track. However, for the TCG scene, the true Dragon One may not have appeared yet.

Tonight at 8 PM, Pack 4.0 will be launched, which is also the last card pack sale during Renaiss's internal testing period. The previous 3.0 sold out in just over an hour; this time it is expected to be even faster.

Last time I forgot to grab it and hit my thigh hard; those who want to participate should remember to set an alarm.
