Today I originally planned to update an article titled 'Build Your Own Encrypted News Aggregator with Cursor in 5 Minutes.' But when I actually made a functioning local test version in just 5 minutes, my first reaction was a bit of panic.
Cursor is indeed so useful that there weren't any points in the whole process that could be organized into a tutorial. You just need to download the client, register, log in, and subscribe to a Pro plan with a U card to start using it. Open Agent mode and tell Cursor my thoughts in one sentence; the rest is just hitting enter to agree to its request.
It didn't even take 5 minutes for the local test version to run. The rest is just repeatedly adjusting the preview until satisfied, uploading to GitHub, deploying to Vercel, and putting it into use.
The panic point is that the technological barriers in my inherent cognition are being erased at lightning speed by AI Agents. AI is giving wings to everyone on the edge of the cliff and telling you that you can fly. The question is, can you really fly?
This is why I must master Vibe Coding. It's not hard to use a bit; the key is to grasp the way of thinking. AI has solved most repetitive tasks that require technical thresholds, becoming an amplifier for my thinking, cognition, aesthetics, and taste. My abilities are no longer limited by the tech stack, but by imagination.
In the context of crypto, this means I can use Vibe Coding to bridge the information gap with top institutions. 'Not being able to write code' is no longer an excuse. The ability to identify Alpha and understand market pulses is my only weapon.
For example, that ugly aggregator made in 5 minutes is actually just a shell. But I can immediately tell Cursor that I want to inject these real Alpha logics into it:
❶ Monitor the GitHub code submission frequency changes of leading projects in specific tracks (such as AI or RWA) and ambush project parties with favorable information through development activity.
❷ Monitor the Twitter of 50 top VC partners, and raise an alarm when more than 3 people follow the same newly registered account within 24 hours. Skip all the noise from the primary market, and directly lock in the seed players for the next round of institutional narratives when the project fans are still less than 1000.
❸ Crawl various DAO governance forums in real-time, and once a draft proposal containing keywords such as 'Fee Switch', 'Burn', etc., is detected, push it immediately. Complete the preemption before the favorable information is priced in by the market.
This is the meaning of Vibe Coding. The final version is still being debugged, and if it works well, I will open-source it for everyone.
Once again, I recommend everyone to try Vibe Coding personally, to hire a super executor for their genius ideas.
